Seattle’s 17th Annual Holiday Bookfest

Holiday Bookfest, now in its 17th year, brings together an array of two dozen local authors to meet their audiences and sign books. Fiction, memoir, nature, culture, poetry, cookbooks and kids books will all be represented. A selection of authors will give short readings.

The event is held at the Phinney Center, in conjunction with Phinney Books.

Funds are raised for local literacy nonprofits. This year, Page Ahead, the Bureau of Fearless Ideas and Books to Prisoners are the designees, along with host PNA.

Organizers encourage readers to consider the perennial author mantra: Books make great gifts!
